Kelly has been a teacher for over 23 years, most of which were spent at Palmer School in Walnut Creek, with the last several years spent teaching small math and reading groups as well as Spanish. Kelly is a Bay Area native and attended Concord schools before going to UC Davis to study psychology, then on to Sonoma State where she completed her teaching program. Shortly after returning to the East Bay in 2001, she began her teaching career. She has a strong belief that every student deserves and education that will allow them to develop their unique strengths and also develop new strengths along the way. Every student needs to be seen, accepted, valued, nurtured and challenged. She strives to create curious, confident, lifelong learners.
