We have created a middle school program where our focus is the whole child - academic, social and emotional. There is so much more to teaching this age group than merely passing along the curriculum. It is our job to ensure each child leaves a better person than when they arrived. They need to be able to embrace mistakes, build critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and use their voices to make a difference - all in a nurturing, upbeat community within our classroom.
Our team of experienced educators not only instructs our students but also helps our students build a community of support, acceptance, empathy, and fun. Through engaging lessons that make learning memorable, a nurturing environment that supports our students, and enrichment classes that not only teach new skills but bolster self-confidence, NLA addresses the needs of the whole child.
In a nutshell, that’s what we bring to the table - an eagerness and drive to help these children navigate through the difficult middle school years while preparing them for high school and beyond.
-Make learning fun -Challenge the students who are ready for more & lend support to those who need it -Create a safe classroom environment where mistakes are embraced -Learn life skills through classes like cooking, drama, finance, game shows, presentation building, art, music (ukulele) and so much more -Prepare for a successful transition into high school
We at Noble Learning Academy understand that middle school is so much more than an academic education - It's the connections we create, the development of social skills, a community to belong to. Our team of teachers is dedicated to ensuring that our whole child philosophy is preserved despite the ongoing pandemic.
Addressing our students' social and emotional needs as well as building our NLA community, we offer weekly enrichment opportunities to include cooking, art, music (ukulele), finance, games, dance, yoga, drama, and more. All of these enrichment classes are included in the NLA tuition.
Further addressing the individual needs of our families, NLA offers a choice in the learning environment. Through state of the art technology, we offer our parents the flexibility to have their children attend NLA in person, online or a combination of both.
