A Message from the Director of Noble Learning Academy

Director’s Message
Many schools claim to teach the whole child, but at NLA, that focus is embedded in our DNA. We carefully select our teachers not only for their expertise but also for their philosophy of student engagement and commitment to providing personalized attention. In my 34 years as an educator, my time working with the staff and students at Noble Learning Academy has been the most profoundly rewarding experience of my career.

Even in challenging times, we continue to implement best practices that engage, inspire, and challenge our students, all while fostering a close-knit community filled with laughter and friendship. The success of our school speaks for itself. Many parents have shared that NLA has far exceeded their expectations, noting that their children not only enjoy school but are also well-prepared for the demands of high school.

Every member of our staff is dedicated to meeting each student where they are, offering the right balance of support and challenge to maximize academic growth. Above all, we make learning fun and meaningful. Our teachers truly understand the unique needs and strengths of each 6th, 7th, and 8th grader.

What sets Noble Learning Academy apart from other middle schools?

At NLA, our students thrive in an environment where small class sizes allow for personalized attention and deeper connections. With over 100 years of collective teaching experience, our dedicated staff brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom.
We offer a diverse range of enrichment classes each week including drama, ASL, art, games, dance, music (ukulele), and more. Our small-group instruction and targeted support ensure that every student has the tools and resources they need to succeed, whether they’re ready for a greater challenge or need additional support.

Beyond academics, we emphasize community building through various student-led initiatives, including a yearbook committee, service committee, and school spirit committee. These activities empower students to develop leadership skills, forge meaningful friendships, and build a sense of belonging.

NLA also offers both in-person and online learning options, ensuring that education remains flexible and student-centered. This hybrid model works beautifully for student-athletes who travel, as well as families who enjoy vacationing throughout the year. With the help of state-of-the-art technology, our online platform is designed to provide an engaging and impactful learning experience.
